First we thanks you to have chosen a vehicle Lukas-Two, we kindly invite you to read carefully the following terms of guarantee. Guarantee of 2 years for all the models. The guarantee does not cover the costs of ordinary maintenance, neither subject to the usury parts like tires, battery, brakes, the light bulbs, cables, etc. .. .. For these last previewed spare parts is the substitution of factory will defect if a checked within 30 days from the purchase date. Eventual transport expenses are at charge of the purchaser. The guarantee is applied only on defects of material or assemblage in phase of production. The guarantee does not cover the repairs from non-authorized staff vehicles, modified vehicles, damages from accidental falls, atmospheric causes, conditions of use exasperated sports competitions like race or similar. Keep the original invoice and pack carefully for all the duration of guarantee period. The loss of (invoice) or the original pack, possibly manipulations from non-authorized staff, are sufficient conditions in order to interrupt the right of guarantee.
Limited Warranty Details
What is covered & what is not covered:
1. Scooter Body: Damage to any plastic / fiberglass part that is a Result of shipping is covered only if it occurred during shipping.
Shipping damage must be reported within 1 day to be covered under warranty. Otherwise, the plastic / fiberglass body parts are not covered under this warranty.
If, after careful inspection by our shipping department, it is determined that the scooter was damaged during shipping, a damage call tag can be issued if reported immediately.
In the event this should happen, the customer needs to contact us within 1 day.
A damage call tag will be issued, the scooter will be picked up and a new scooter
will be shipped after the damaged scooter is received back in our warehouse. Please allow up to two weeks for this process.
2. Tires, tubes & kick stands: These items are NOT covered unless they are damaged as a result of shipping.
3. Light bulbs & Fuses: Light bulbs are covered for 30 days only. Fuses are not covered and can be bought for less than 50% each at any auto supply store or Wal-Mart type of retail outlet.
4. During the first 30 calendar days of the warranty, Lukas Scooters will replace any defective part free of charge and free of shipping charge to the end user of the scooter.
Lukas may require some parts to be shipped back to Lukas before replacing those parts. Shipping costs back to Lukas must be paid for by the end user / customer.
5. Extended Battery Warranty: 100% in 3 months, 50% in 6 months and 25% in 12 months.
